1. Shortage of Traditional Radio/Chemotherapy

In most traditional medical circles, surgery is no longer viable option for advanced cancer
treatment and only radio/chemotherapy is used to treat it in its late stage. But
radio/chemotherapy alone cannot guarantee a cure for advanced stage cancers because at
present almost all radio/chemotherapy drugs only against a proliferation of cancer cells. The
high scores of tumor growth (such as the highly malignant lymphoma) are sensitive to
radio/chemotherapy.  But common solid tumors (such as colon cancer, non small cell lung
cancer, hepatocelular carcinoma) growth of low scores is not sensitive to radio/chemotherapy.
Moreover radio/chemotherapy weakens the immune system during treatment, disabling the

p53 Gene Therapy (Gendicine Drug) – Gene therapy is the process of replacing defective
or cancerous genes (also called “oncogenes”) with normal genes. The removal of these
oncogenes reprograms the cell to its normal state, preventing tumor growth and the spread of
cancer. Gendicine is a biologically active drug designed to stop the development of cancer at
the genetic level. Developed and licensed in China, it has been approved for production by
the SFDA (State Food and Drug Administration) for treatment of one type of cancer, making it
the first commercially available medical product to target dysfunctional genes. For local large
tumor treatment purpose, Gendicine is generally being used through intratumoral injection into
tumor directly. For systematic treatment, Gendicine is generally being injected through
intravenously. Gendicine can also be administered by hepatic artery infusion, intraperitoneal
injection, bronchoalveolar lavage, intravesical instillation.

Antiangiogenesis Agents (Endostar Drug) – Endostar works by inhibiting angiogenesis:
the proliferous formation of new blood vessels around in and around the tumoral tissue.
combined with mild chemotherapy not only produce tumor shrinking but also overcome prior
chemotherapy resistance in many types of advanced cancer patients. Endostar (recombinant
human endostatin) is the most potent anti-angiogenesis agent known today, due to its
effective interaction with a wide range of angiogenesis promoters, which has been approved
by the SFDA (State Food and Drug Administration). Endostar is now actively used in lung,
breast, pancreas and colorectal cancers. For local large tumor treatment purpose, Gendicine
is generally being used through intratumoral injection into tumor directly.For systematic
treatment to inhibite metastasis, Endostar is generally being injected through intravenously.
Endostar can also be administered by hepatic artery infusion, intraperitoneal injection,
bronchoalveolar lavage, intravesical instillation.

Tumor Targeted Cryoablation – a minimally invasive surgery, extreme cold freezing
technique, approved by FDA, used to ablate the advanced stage solid local tumor mass of,
such as lung cancer, liver cancer, breast cancer, prostate cancer and kidney cancer with high
efficiency, high safety and little to no side-effect. According to our experience, Cryoablation is
much safer than RFA (Radio Frequency Ablation, a minimally invasive heating technique to
ablate the tumor).

HIFU – High Intensity Focused Ultrasound, a non-invasive technique used to ablate the local
tumor mass of, such as pancreatic cancer, prostate cancer,liver cancer and breast cancer with
high efficiency, high safety and little to no side-effects.

TACE –Transcatheter arterial chemoembolization, which has been has been used extensively
in the treatment of unresectable hepatocellular carcinoma to kill the tumor and slow tumor
growth.

Immunotherapy (CIK or DC-CIK biotherapy) – Surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy and
biotherapy are the mostly used methods for tumor treatment at present. CIK (cytokine-induced
killer), the best adoptive immunotherapy in the medical practice, is a kind of the biotherapy.
CIK cells have ability to seek out and attack tumors, kill proliferative or non-proliferative cancer
cells . CIK-DC consists of CIK cells and DC cells (dendritic cells). Dendritic cells are the most
powerful antigen-presenting cells. They help CIK cells to recognize the antigens on cancer
cells. CIK-DC can selectively destroy tumor cells without damaging normal cells. So the
treatment has little to no side effects. Now, CIK or CIK-DC has been applied to treat leukemia,
kidney cancer, malignant lymphoma, liver cancer, breast cancer, gastric cancer, ovarian
cancer, prostate cancer, colon cancer, rectal cancer, lung cancer and other malignant tumors,
and has yielded significant effects including:

stem cells’ sensitivity to chemotherapy agents by blocking PI3K-mTOR signaling pathways and
